Hi guys!
Remember when I showed you my entry for the Kimchi Chronicles video contest a while back? Although I did not win, I ended up with a really wonderful surprise. After they featured my blog post on Gimbap several weeks ago, I was invited to create some original Korean fusion recipes for the Kimchi Chronicles blog!
For my first recipe, we have a delicious Napa Cabbage Salad with Oranges, Spicy Shrimp, and Rice Wine Vinaigrette. By repurposing napa cabbage, which is traditionally used to make kimchi, as well as incorporating some of Korea’s signature savory and spicy flavors like ginger, garlic, and gochugaru (red pepper flakes), I came up with a light, refreshing recipe of which I’m really proud.
I know that sentence sounds awkward, but I couldn’t bring my inner English nerd to end it in a preposition.
As I’m sure you can tell by my gushing, I really am proud of this recipe. In short, I’m thrilled to have this delightful new gig over at Kimchi Chronicles and I hope you’ll pay them a visit to check out my recipe, as well as tons of other yumminess on their blog.
